Anastasia Baran is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides part-time individual therapy services with Smith Psychotherapy Associates, S.C. She works full-time as the primary social worker in the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program for NorthShore University Health System, Deerfield Behavioral Health; where she also works with clients in the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. In her practice, Anastasia works with a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Grief/Loss, School Stress and Work/Life Stressors. The focus of her practice in working with adolescents in the Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization setting, includes the implementation of Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, as well as Strength Based Therapeutic interventions. She concentrates on building strong and honest relationships during her client’s sessions; enabling them to achieve their goals outside of therapy and in every aspect of their daily lives. Her individualized therapy takes into account the unique complexities impacting the lives of her clients and helps each person find the coping skills that best fit into their lifestyle.
